Please Note: Prescriptions issued as part of a consultation are provided at no additional charge.
Due to increasing demand and the administrative costs associated with issuing additional prescriptions outside of a consultation, a fee of £30 applies to any subsequent private prescription. This fee is payable in advance of the prescription being issued.
Please note that this fee covers the issuing of the prescription only. The cost of the medication itself is not included and is payable directly to your chosen pharmacy. Medication costs are set independently by individual pharmacies and remain payable even where our prescription fee has been waived.

If you are planning to use private medical insurance, I recommend contacting your insurer in advance to confirm your level of cover and obtain any required authorisation codes.

Self-Funded Patients
I am happy to see self-funded patients, offering prompt access to specialist care without the need for private medical insurance.
A referral letter from your GP or another healthcare professional is preferred, as it helps ensure a comprehensive understanding of your medical background; however, this is not essential, and you are welcome to self-refer.
Consultation fees:
- New consultation – £265
- Follow-up consultation – £150
