Hello! I am an accomplished Consultant Gynaecologist based in York, UK, committed to delivering compassionate, personalised care to support women’s health.

I graduated from the University of Manchester Medical School in 2015 and obtained my postgraduate MRCOG qualification in 2022. In 2023, I was appointed as a substantive Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist at York Teaching Hospital. I hold additional RCOG ATSM qualifications in 'Benign Abdominal Surgery: Open and Laparoscopic' and 'Advanced Labour Ward Practice.' I am an expert in Laparoscopic Hysterectomy, particularly for women with large fibroids, raised BMI or dense adhesions. I often recieve referrals from consultant colleagues for laparoscopic surgery that traditionally would only be achievable via an open procedure.

Within my NHS role, I lead the clinical governance team and serve as deputy lead for gynaecological cancer. I also act as an educational supervisor for one resident doctor and train senior gynaecology registrars in advanced operative hysteroscopy and surgical oncology. I also mentor established consultants developing advanced skills in laparoscopic surgery. I regularly present at national conferences in my areas of special interest. 

I believe in building strong relationships with my patients to provide truly individualised care, from treating complex medical conditions to offering reassurance and guidance. My calm and compassionate approach, combined with extensive surgical expertise, ensures patients feel supported while receiving the highest quality treatment.

Outside of medicine, I lead a busy family life with my three young children. In my spare time, I enjoy mountain biking, travelling, and motorsport.
